Allegany State Park

Aquarium of Niagara
This aquarium is a short walk from the falls and features over 1500 marine creatures from around the world. These include piranhas, Peruvian penguins, California sea lions and a variety of sharks. The aquarium has a second floor Observation deck overlooking Niagara Gorge.

Hamlin Beach State Park
Hamlin Beach State Park is located about eight miles north of Brockport, NY. There are 264 campsites at this park, as well as sandy beaches, 10 miles of hiking and biking trails and boating access to the water. Snowmobile and cross country ski trails are available in the winter months.

Cave of the Winds
The Cave of the Winds, located on Goat Island, provides visitors with a unique perspective of the falls. A series of wooden walkways and an elevator takes guests through the rock escarpment to view the falls from the bottom. This is a 'wet' experience but raincoats are provided.

Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens
Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens are set in an 1890s Victorian domed glass conservatory. The gardens feature plants and flowers from all over the world. Among the collections are herbs as well as an orchid and bromeliad house. Other landscape features include a waterfall. Annual seasonal shows are also held here.
